The Leroy Awards recognize the most distinguished black performances of the Thespian arts.
Hollywood has given us so many Oscar-worthy performances over the decades that not every deserving role can become a winner. We fill that void and provide prestigious distinction for those hard working actors who are not as decorated & respected as the Three 6 Mafia.
Leroys are awarded for all of the major categories of typical black acting including “cool” sidekicks, great death scenes, hiphop crossover performances, and the all-encompassing advancement of the culture.
